Lose Some, Win Some

Spain chooses capitulation, Israel chooses to fight. The assassination of Hamas leader Sheik Yassin sends a clear message to Palestinian terror organizations: we will no longer negotiate with you. This is long overdue, as it is obvious this conflict will not be resolved until there are clear winners and losers. Just as the Nazi ideology had to be defeated in order to expose its evil nature, so must the fantasy Palestinian ideology.

Belmont Club expertly notes the implications of Yassin's death, details how Europe loses by sitting on the sidelines in the WoT, and possibly becomes a target of Palestinian terror. Appeasement has its costs.
